Developing a unique identity for a uniquely positioned British bank.
Neero is an African-owned, UK-based bank. The brand was established with the vision to address a notable void in the British financial system. Presently, conducting cross-border transactions between Britain and Africa is a challenging endeavor within the existing financial landscape. Neero's mission is to bridge this gap, providing a streamlined and effortless experience for sending money between Britain and Africa. With Neero, the process of remitting funds in both directions will be greatly simplified, ensuring enhanced convenience and efficiency

A new player on the block
The financial industry, both in the UK and globally, tends to lean towards conservatism and corporate attributes. However, Neero holds a distinct position that warrants a unique identity. We have meticulously crafted an expressive identity system for Neero, deviating from the conventional norms of financial institutions, while maintaining a professional essence that aligns with the brand's values.
The identifier: Capturing the essence of money
The logo embodies intentional visual cues, resembling a currency symbol. This design concept stems from the core challenge that inspired the birth of the brand: the complexities associated with cross-border money transfers. Our objective was to create a simple yet highly recognizable logo, ensuring ease of identification for our audience.
Glyphs: The brand DNA rooted in the African spirit
We created glyphs that represents the different values of the brand. The glyphs were inspired by ancient African symbols.
We paired Roc Grotesk with Aeonik. We found this combination to work well with the visual aesthetic of the brand.
Communicating value with the right words.
